Team GB's hockey player Crista Cullen has insisted that she and her teammates will fight to clinch a bronze medal against New Zealand this afternoon.
The British women missed out on contending for gold following their 2-1 defeat to Argentina on Wednesday.
"It was such a frustrating defeat," the Leicester Mercury quotes Cullen as saying. "But getting the bronze medal means everything to us now and that is what we need to go out and get.
"We are not going to leave this Olympics empty-handed after all the hard work we have put in.
"We need to let out all the emotions now and then come back and get ourselves ready for the game against New Zealand and make sure we get that medal. It is disappointing because we were aiming for that gold medal, but we will just need to pick ourselves up."
Argentina will go up against the Netherlands tonight to compete for Olympic glory.
