Canadian centre Jonathan Toews has said that he is looking forward to playing against the USA in the men's ice hockey tournament at the 2014 Winter Olympics.
The two sides met in the final of the Vancouver Games four years ago, and on that occasion the Canadians won 3-2 in overtime.
If the two North Americans do meet in Sochi this month, then Toews will be facing his Chicago Blackhawks teammate Patrick Kane, and the 25-year-old is relishing the prospect.
"We're always, in a fun way, competing against each other on a daily basis," The AP quotes him as saying.
"We'll be competitive if we get a chance to play each other. One guy is not going to want the other to get the best of him."
USA have been placed in Group A, while Canada are in Group B.
