Finland's men's ice hockey team have named Jarkko Immonen and Sakari Salminen as replacements for Mikko Koivu and Valtteri Filppula at the Winter Olympics in Sochi.
Koivu and Filppula, who play for Nizhny Novgorod Torpedo in Russia's Kontinental Hockey League, both had to withdraw from the team due to injuries.
First-choice replacement Sean Bergenheim declined the offer to join the team in order to rest and undergo rehabilitation on an abdominal injury.
Defenseman Ossi Vaananen told the Olympic News Service: "We can't get stuck worrying about it because that sort of thing happens to every country. It's a tough job but we'll get through it."
Finland winger Teemu Selanne is making a record sixth Olympic Winter Games appearance.
