Former coach Jim Anderson has been named as Ice Hockey UK's new chairman.
Anderson, who has been involved in the sport since 1979, has taken on the role on a three-year deal following an interim period.
"Ice hockey is a massive passion of mine and to hold this position is a real honour," Fife Today quotes Anderson as saying. "We are making massive strides forward, and these are exciting times to be involved in the national governing body.
"There are many plans for the future, including the restructure of the sport and the proposed U20s league, which will change the sport in a massively positive way."
Anderson was part of the Fife management team alongside head coach Rab Petrie in 1989.
