Finland ice hockey goalkeeper Noora Raty has admitted that her team had a 'nightmare start' when they went a goal down to the United States within 60 seconds of today's Olympic ice hockey preliminary match, but also praised the Americans by saying that they were "the better team".
Hilary Knight struck in the 53rd second for Team USA, and despite a spirited performance from the Finns, the Americans ran out 3-1 winners at the Shayba Arena.
"They got a few lucky bounces, but they definitely earned their luck today - they were the better team," Raty told reporters.
Canada will take on Switzerland in the second preliminary match at 1.05pm UK time.
