Great Britain's Ben Quilter has failed to overcome Algeria's Mouloud Noura to contest for a gold medal in the men's -60kg judo final.
The Brit, who is the current European and world champion, faced a tough test going up against the reigning Paralympic champion Noura, who started well at the Excel Arena.
Noura, who was beaten by Quilter in their last meeting, took the early advantages and scored the first point with a strong ankle move, which was followed by an ippon.
Despite the Algerian's substantial lead, the ippon was withdrawn due to an illegal leg wrap but it didn't take long for the Paralympic champion to finish off the contest with another ippon, which ended Quilter's hopes of winning a gold medal.
Quilter will now contest for a bronze medal later today.
