Valentino Rossi believes that he is in the best form of his career after finishing second in the 2014 MotoGP world championship.
The 35-year-old, who has won seven world titles in his career, believes that having to compete against Marc Marquez and Jorge Lorenzo keeps him on top of his game.
According to Autosport.com, when asked if he felt as though he was on top form, Rossi said: "For me, yes. It's difficult to say, but I've worked a lot this year on all the small details.
"Everything has changed. First of all, my rivals have changed - they're younger and a lot stronger than in the past. I am older, but I feel at 100%."
Rossi has also won nine grand prix world championships in his career.
