England netball star Geva Mentor has claimed that they weren't able to deal with the physical approach of Jamaica as they were beaten to Commonwealth Games bronze on Sunday.
Anna Mayes's side lost out in the medal-match 52-48, and Mentor thinks that the gruelling nature of the game took its toll on the team.
She told BBC Sport: "We weren't able to withstand the pressure, you can tell by my fat lip and I've probably got a shiner coming up as well. We've come away with nothing.
"We need to be able to deal with [the pressure]. That's what sport is about, the highs and the lows and you pick yourself up from that. Physically, we were strong enough to go out there and put up a performance, but right from the first whistle we were hesitant with the ball.
"We were turning over the ball, but we haven't been finishing it off, as an attack as a whole and all the way through the court."
Australia meet New Zealand in the final on Sunday.
