Geva Mentor will represent England for a fifth time at the Commonwealth Games as part of an experienced squad for Gold Coast 2018.

Team England have named an experienced netball squad for the 2018 Commonwealth Games, as they aim to add to a previous record of three bronze medals.

Geva Mentor is among those included in the 12-strong travelling party heading to the Gold Coast, competing in the quadrennial competition for a fifth time.

There will also be a fourth participation at the Games for Jade Clarke, while Ama Agbeze, Eboni Beckford-Chambers and Jo Harten are to represent their nation for a third time.

The England Roses missed out on another bronze four years ago when finishing fourth in Glasgow but, on the back of some positive results, skipper Agbeze has insisted that her side have nothing to fear.

"The Commonwealth Games is a pinnacle event in the netball calendar, with all the top teams in the world in attendance," she said. "Our team have been steadily building to this point and we aim to return England's best result since netball's inclusion in the Games of Kuala Lumpur in 1998.

"We understand that this will be no mean feat, with the Games being in Australia; with its close proximity to New Zealand, both the number 1 and 2 ranked countries will have plenty of support on the ground. It is an exciting opportunity and we are relishing the challenge."

England will face New Zealand, Malawi, Wales, Scotland and Uganda in Pool B.

Team England netball squad: Ama Agbeze, Eboni Beckford-Chambers, Jade Clarke, Beth Cobden, Jodie Gibson, Kadeen Corbin, Jo Harten, Serena Guthrie, Helen Housby, Natalie Haythornthwaite, Chelsea Pitman, Geva Mentor
