Arsenal have reportedly lost an appeal to build a 25-storey tower next to the Emirates Stadium.
A local government inspector is said to have originally approved the plans put forward by Arsenal, who have claimed that the building is part of the regeneration of the Islington area.
Last July, High Court judge David Mackie is believed to have granted the London Borough of Islington's appeal, resulting in the Premier League club lodging an appeal of their own.
According to the Daily Mail, Master of the Rolls Lord Dyson, Lord Justice Davis and Lady Justice Gloster unanimously rejected the club's stance by stating that it would be out of place on Hornsey Road.
Islington's policy states that buildings over 30 metres tall are 'generally inappropriate'.
