Lord Alan Sugar reportedly calls a Twitter user a "brain dead t***" following his confusion over the Arsenal result.

Lord Alan Sugar reportedly responded angrily to a Twitter user following confusion relating to a message he had sent regarding the race for a Champions League spot.

The businessman, who is a Tottenham Hotspur fan, mistakenly tweeted that Newcastle United had drawn level at 1-1 against Arsenal on the final day of the season.

Despite claiming that he had accidentally sent the tweet after the game had finished, the star of The Apprentice received criticism from fellow Twitter users.

According to the Daily Mail, Lord Sugar replied to a message: "can you read you brain dead t*** composed in the stand, sent after game automatically when signal became available."

Arsenal eventually managed to secure their place in the top four, while Spurs missed out for the second year in a row.
