San Marino's Twitter page took a dig at Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo over his lack of goalscoring form after the minnows scored their first competitive away goal in over 14 years.
Mass celebrations ensued when Matteo Vitaioli scored in his side's 2-1 defeat to Lithuania in their Euro 2016 qualifier on Tuesday.
On Twitter, San Marino's media team opted to take aim at Ronaldo's failure to score a goal so far this season, while they also hit out at Arsenal's recent unsuccessful Champions League campaigns.
One tweet read, "Cristiano Ronaldo phoned the hotel where we're staying. He wanted us to teach him how to score goals," while another said, "in the end we get our goal, in life everything comes around, apart from a Champions League for Arsenal".
At the weekend, San Marino were beaten 6-0 by England in Italy.
