The father of Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny has been arrested by Polish police on suspicion of rape.
Former player Maciej Szczesny, who now works as a goalkeeping coach, was held for two days as investigation into the incident took place.
Officers say that the allegation is being "carefully scrutinised".
The 48-year-old is the only footballer to win the Ekstraklasa, Poland's top division, with four different clubs.
