Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere has apologised for any offence caused by his controversial antics during his side's FA Cup celebrations on Sunday.
Wilshere and his teammates paraded the trophy along the streets of North London in an open-top bus following their 4-0 win over Aston Villa in the final at Wembley on Saturday.
During the celebrations, Arsenal's official channel were forced to apologise midway through their coverage after Wilshere chanted at the crowd, "I have one question, and one question only - what do we think of Tottenham?" before adding, "and what do we think of shit?"
The 23-year-old joined in with the Arsenal fans, who continued chanting: "We hate Tottenham and we hate Tottenham - we are the Tottenham haters."
Following the offensive chanting, Arsenal issued Wilshere with a warning and the midfielder tweeted on Monday afternoon: "Sharing back2back Cup wins with so many amazing Gooners is a dream come true. Apologies if I upset or offended any of u with my celebrations."
The Football Association are reportedly considering whether to take action against the England international.
