The Saudi Arabia football team failed to take part in a minute's silence for the victims of the London Bridge terrorist attack this morning.
The Saudis were facing Australia in a World Cup qualifier at the Adelaide Oval and were taking part in their warm-up when the stadium announcer called for the start of the silence.
However, while the Australian team linked arms on the halfway line and respected the tribute to the eight people who lost their lives, the Saudi Arabia team stood in a random formation with some players continuing their warm-up, according to The Telegraph.
Others reports suggest that the Saudi Arabia bench also failed to stand and take part in the minute's silence, prompting boos from the crowd inside the stadium.
Australia went on to beat Saudi Arabia 3-2 to move level on points with their opponents and Japan at the top of their qualifying group.
