Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard has reportedly tried to force his ex-fiancee Elen Rivas's great-grandmother from her home in Barcelona.
The England international, who split from the mother of his two children in 2008, rented a four-bedroom flat to Rives's Spanish great-grandmother Teresa Canete when the couple were still together but the 34-year-old has sent a legal letter asking the 100-year-old to leave due to the emergence of a new buyer.
Rivas's mother Elena told the Daily Mail: "Her health is frail, like most 100-year-old people's would be. I find it degrading and consider Frank to be acting totally unscrupulously.
"He'd lose money on the flat because property prices in Spain have plummeted. But even if he were to earn anything it would be small change for a man like him. He's a multi-millionaire Premiership footballer for God's sake. Why does he need the money?"
Lampard is currently living in a London home with TV presenter Christine Bleakley.
