Former Clyde midfielder Chris Mitchell has died at the age of 27.
Mitchell, who also played for Falkirk, Ayr United, Bradford City and Queen of the South, passed away on Friday.
The midfielder, whose cause of death has not been disclosed, joined Clyde last summer, making 18 appearances this season before leaving in January after being offered a full-time job.
A statement from the Scottish club on Sunday read: "Everyone connected with Clyde FC was shocked and saddened to learn of the death of Chris Mitchell.
"[Manager] Barry Ferguson, his staff and the players received the news when they were travelling back from Elgin as a group [on Saturday], and are today still coming to terms with the loss."
A minute's silence will be observed in memory of Mitchell prior to kickoff in Tuesday's League One playoff final first leg between Clyde and Queen's Park at Broadwood.
