Doncaster Rovers have reportedly refused to deny or confirm reports that One Direction singer Louis Tomlinson is planning a bid to buy the club.
The 22-year-old, who is a Doncaster supporter, agreed a non-contract deal in August to play for the club.
The singer, who found fame with the British boyband on reality talent show The X Factor, has featured for the club's reserves to raise money for charity.
Reports have emerged this week claiming that Tomlinson wants to buy the South Yorkshire club, but Doncaster have stated that they will not comment on speculation, according to ITV News.
Doncaster will take up a place in League One next season after getting relegated from the Championship.
