Queens Park Rangers midfielder Joey Barton has described the £90 price tag of the new replica England football shirts as "appalling".
Nike have created two new strips - a white and red - ahead of this summer's World Cup in Brazil, with the most expensive shirt on sale to the public for £90.
'Stadium' shirts will cost an England fan £60 to buy, while the kids' versions aged from eight to 15 are priced at £42.
Barton wrote on Twitter: "£90 for the new England shirt is taking the mickey out of the fans. When will it stop? I wonder what 'magic' technology it has this time that forces the price up but doesn't actually work.
"Oh so ok, theres two tiers of shirt. 'real one' £90 and 'Stadium ?..Wtf' shirt £60. Which do you think kids will pressure their parents for?
The World Cup gets underway on June 12.
