Comedian Russell Brand and former England footballer Gary Lineker recreated Paul Gascoigne's tears from the 1990 World Cup in Italy when meeting up this week.
The pair posed for a photograph by re-enacting Lineker's signal to former England boss Bobby Robson, telling him that he needs to have a word with Gascoigne after he was handed a yellow card.
The booking meant that the ex-midfielder would have missed the final, but the Three Lions never got there as they succumbed to defeat against West Germany in the semi-final.
Brand, who supports West Ham United, met Lineker backstage at the comedian's 'Messiah Complex' tour in London and posted the photo on Twitter with the message: "Italia 90, my head's gone, I need the support of a mentor.
