England could reportedly return to playing home games around the country in the future should an NFL team base itself at Wembley.
The Three Lions played at Old Trafford, the Stadium of Light, Villa Park, St James' Park, St Mary's and the recently renamed King Power Stadium while their current home was undergoing a revamp, which was completed in 2007.
The Football Association are obliged to hold matches at the North London venue until 2017, although BBC Sport claims that England chiefs would be open to a similar scenario of moving games elsewhere if an American Football franchise was to bring in additional revenues.
England's recent friendly with Norway attracted a crowd of 40,181, while all three NFL games to be staged at Wembley this season have sold out, including Miami Dolphins' recent 38-14 triumph over Oakland Raiders.
