Former Everton midfielder Andy King has died at the age of 58.
King, who scored 67 goals in 248 appearances over two separate spells with the Toffees, passed away yesterday after suffering a heart attack.
"[He] was a crowd favourite and will forever be remembered for netting a spectacular Merseyside derby winner in October 1978," read a statement on the club's official website.
"The thoughts of everyone at Everton are with Andy's family and many friends at this sad time."
Luton-born King also played for a host of other clubs, including Queens Park Rangers, West Bromwich Albion and Wolverhampton Wanderers.
