Ipswich Town's Paul Anderson has offered to pay for a fan's ceiling repairs after the supporter caused damage while celebrating his team's equalising Championship playoff semi-final goal.
Anderson cancelled out the opening goal of their fierce rivals Norwich City in Saturday's 1-1 draw of the semi-final first leg at Portman Road.
Ross Morgan dented a hole in his ceiling with his fist while jumping in the air celebrating the goal, and decided to tweet Anderson with a picture of the damage and the blood left on his knuckles.
In response to the tweet, Anderson wrote: "tell me how much to fix it and I'll pay it mate."
Morgan replied by writing: "you sir are an absolute hero. I will try and fix it myself. You deserve every penny of that goal bonus!!! You were superb! #itfc"
