Los Angeles Clippers ace Blake Griffin is reported to be facing a six-month prison sentence after allegedly assaulting a man in Las Vegas last month.
The 6'10" power forward has been charged with misdemeanor battery for reportedly attacking Daniel Schuman, 39, at Tao nightclub on October 18 for taking pictures of him.
Schuman claims that Griffin became angry at the repeated flashes from his phone and grabbed him by the throat before slapping him.
Investigators have obtained CCTV footage of a heated confrontation between the pair, but the alleged slap is not thought to have been captured on camera.
If found guilty, the 25-year-old could be sentenced to six months in prison and a $1,000 fine but, with no previous arrests, a stint in jail is unlikely, according to TMZ.
ESPN reports that Griffin will be arraigned on December 8.
