The daughter of the chief steward on board the missing MH370 flight met Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers and captain Jordan Henderson during the club's pre-season tour in Malaysia last week.
The Merseyside outfit, who have now returned to the UK, tweeted Maira Elizabeth Nari in March last year after she pleaded with her father, shortly after the flight was reported missing, to come home and watch Liverpool.
According to the Daily Star, while the Reds were in Malaysia, Maira, whose father is yet to be found, met up with Rodgers and Henderson, as well as former player Ian Rush at a hotel in Subang Jaya.
The plane carrying 239 passengers on board during its journey to Beijing is yet to be found.
