Jose Enrique beats Joe Hart, Phil Jones and Elliot Bennett along the way to winning the FIFA 13 Celeb Cup against a star-studded field.

Liverpool full-back Jose Enrique has beaten a host of Premier League colleagues and celebrities to win a star-studded launch tournament for FIFA 13.

Enrique, playing as Real Madrid, swatted aside Manchester City keeper Joe Hart 5-0 in his opening match of the 16-player tournament.

Manchester United quartet Phil Jones, Tom Cleverley, Chris Smalling and Ashley Young also took part, with Young losing 1-0 against Olympic gold medallist Greg Rutherford in his quarter-final.

Enrique overcame Jones and and Norwich City winger Elliot Bennett to face John Franceschi, a singer in the band You Me At Six, in the final.

Franceschi had beaten Rutherford and Olympic gymnast Louis Smith on the way to the final, but his Arsenal team had to settle for second place.

Reds defender Enrique shared his FIFA 13 Celeb Cup trophy on Twitter, with the message: "The champions!!!! Thanks for the support hahahaha."

FIFA 13, the latest title from the hugely popular EA Sports franchise, is set to be released in the UK on Friday, September 28.
