Norwegian Liverpool supporter Axel Gogstad has revealed that he changed his name to Anfield when he was 18 years old.
The now 27-year-old, who studies sports journalism in Southampton, legally goes by the name of Axel Gogstad-Anfield.
"I changed my name to Anfield when I turned 18, I've had it for nine years now," Axel told the club's official website. "It was quite a spontaneous thing, really.
"I've always been proud of my name but I thought if I put 'Anfield' to it I'd be even more proud of it and I can carry Liverpool wherever I'm going."
The Reds fan also claimed that he gets "stick" from Manchester United fans for his name change.
