Liverpool have temporarily removed the Shankly Gates from Anfield as they continue to work on the stadium's redevelopment.
The gates, which act as a tribute to the Reds' former manager Bill Shankly, are to be put in storage while construction is being done on the Main Stand.
According to the Liverpool Echo, the gates, which were removed yesterday morning, will take their place in the new refurbished area once work is complete.
Earlier this month, the Hillsborough Memorial was moved in similar fashion to protect it from the work taking place to increase the stadium's capacity to 54,000.
