Luis Suarez has reportedly chosen Kenny Dalglish to present him with the European Golden Shoe next Wednesday because he wants to share the award with his former club Liverpool.
Suarez, who joined Barcelona in the summer, will be given the honour by the European Sports Magazines organisation after finishing joint top scorer across Europe with 31 Premier League goals alongside Real Madrid's Cristiano Ronaldo.
According to The Guardian, Suarez has arranged for his former manager Dalglish to be flown over to Barcelona for next week's ceremony, which was arranged by Spanish newspaper Marca.
Reports have claimed that Suarez initially wanted to receive the award in front of supporters at Anfield, but that could not be organised.
The Uruguay international also wanted Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard to be present, but the midfielder is unable to attend.
