Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany has opened two sports bars in his homeland of Belgium.
The 28-year-old helped create the Good Kompany venues, with one located on the Groenplaats in Antwerp and the Grote Markt in Brussels.
Kompany's presence is felt in the bars with a number of his match-worn shirts on display, as well as jerseys from fellow professionals including Carlos Tevez and Roberto Carlos.
"He didn't want the interior of an Irish pub or an American sports bar," the Daily Mail quotes consultant Jan Oppens as saying. "He wanted the lounge feeling, a place were everybody could relax. There are television screens everywhere. if there is a top game, we will show it.
"It's an interactive pub too. You can pay with your smartphone, tweets on the pub pop-up immediately on the screens and customers can also play video games."
Kompany bought the structures last year.
