Manchester City have donated a football pitch to Chicago in a bid to encourage youngsters to get involved in the sport.
The Premier League champions have branched out to the United States in their project, which aims to prevent young people from crime and keeping them off the streets.
Chief executive officer Ferran Soriano told the Manchester Evening News: "Community has been at the heart of Manchester City since its foundation in 1880.
"Twenty-six years ago the club founded 'City in the Community', designed to support those with the greatest need in the city of Manchester.
"Fast forward to 2012 and Manchester City, now working with 200,000 people in our local area, have left lasting legacies for communities across the globe, from Africa and the Middle East to China and America."
Club coaches will work with kids on the pitch located at Haas Park in the Illinois city.
