A group of Manchester City fans reportedly tried to barricade themselves in a Seville pub in order to hold off an attack from around 50 people.
Masked people, thought to be Sevilla fans, are said to have stormed O'Neill's Irish Pub in the Spanish city with what some onlookers described as batons on Monday evening.
According to the Manchester Evening News, several people were injured after the group broke through glass windows and knocked over tables and chairs while fighting.
A witness told the newspaper that the masked gang yelled "hooligans" when they forced their way into the pub.
City fans are in Spain for tonight's Champions League match against Sevilla.
