Manchester City have reportedly decided not to install heated seats in the away dugout at the Etihad Stadium for the winter months in a bid to get the upper hand over their opponents.
The reigning English champions are currently six points behind Premier League leaders Chelsea after nine games.
According to the Daily Star, club officials will give the home dugout a revamp by installing new seats which will have buttons installed to heat up the chair, but they have decided against giving their opponents the same treatment.
City take on Newcastle United at home tonight in the Capital One Cup as they bid to reach the quarter-finals.
