Manchester City star Yaya Toure will reportedly go on trial later today over charges of speeding at 123mph on a motorway.
The 32-year-old has been accused of reaching the illegal speed while driving in a Porsche on the Northbound M6 on May 20.
According to PA, Toure admitted to speeding at 101mph, but denied allegations that he clocked over 120mph six minutes later on the same stretch of road.
Toure is expected to give evidence at Burton Magistrates' Court in Staffordshire, while a defence witness and two police officers are also due to speak.
In a previous hearing at Cannock Magistrates' Court, charges of failing to produce an insurance certificate and of having no third party insurance were dropped.
