The girlfriend of Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea avoided answering questions about her boyfriend's football future while being interviewed about her upcoming Eurovision campaign.
Edurne Garcia, who has been in a relationship with the shot-stopper since his early career at Atletico Madrid, is preparing to represent Spain at the song contest in Vienna on May 23.
During an interview with TVE, presenter Marilo Montero asked Garcia if De Gea will sign for Real this summer, and after a moment's silence, the singer said: "The truth is I'm so happy to be here at Eurovision."
The interviewer pressed again, but Garcia avoided the question by saying: "I can't hear anything. I'm here to talk about Eurovision and about my song. I'm one of the favourites."
Garcia's song is called 'Amanecer', which is Spanish for 'Dawn'.
