A statue of Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson was unveiled at Old Trafford today to mark the Scotsman's glittering 26 years with the North West side.
The 70-year-old was in attendance with his wife Lady Cathy, who officially unveiled the bronze statue, which displays the Red Devils boss stood with his arms folded.
"This is a really proud moment. Normally people die before they see their statue," said Ferguson. "I'm outliving death."
Former United captain Eric Cantona attended the ceremony, which was being held outside the Sir Alex Ferguson stand, while ex-players David Beckham and Cristiano Ronaldo sent messages to the Scotsman.
