Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku was reportedly made to find alternative transport in order to get home from Southampton on Saturday evening after struggling to provide a urine sample for drug-testers.
The Belgium international proved to be the hero once again for the Red Devils, finding the back of the net for the only goal of the game at St Mary's Stadium - his sixth goal in six Premier League outings since joining the side.
According to the Daily Mail, however, Lukaku was picked at random for a drugs test after the match and took so long to relieve himself that the United team bus left without him.
The newspaper claims that the 24-year-old, who joined United in a £75m deal from Everton in the summer, instead got a taxi from the ground and later caught up with his teammates.
Boss Jose Mourinho admitted at full time on Saturday that he has been left surprised by the rate at which Lukaku has found the net this term.
