Manchester United's kit manufacturer Adidas has confirmed that there have been record sales since the launch of the Premier League giants' shirt for the 2015-16 season.
On August 1, the Red Devils unveiled their new strip made by Adidas, who sealed a 10-year deal worth £750m with the club last year.
The global sportswear giant's chief executive Herbert Hainer has revealed that sales of the shirt have broken the club's megastore record by almost 50%.
"The initial response has really blown us away as it has exceeded all expectations in both the club's and our own brand channels," the Daily Mail quotes Hainer as saying. "The Old Trafford Megastore saw a record demand for a non-match day, almost 50% up on the previous record."
Hainer also revealed that there have been four times the number of online orders made compared to the previous record.
