Vodafone have decided to call time on their association with Formula 1 by ending their sponsorship deal with McLaren.
The mobile phone firm have confirmed that this will be their last season with the team because they feel they 'do not need' the exposure from F1 due to their expanding brand.
McLaren team principal Martin Whitmarsh told Sky News: "We're immensely proud that, having been set a number of ambitious challenges by Vodafone back in 2007, together we've met or exceeded each and every one."
Whitmarsh also revealed that the team will announce a replacement sponsor in December.
