Mercedes Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton was named as the GQ Sportsman of the Year at last night's award ceremony in London.
The 29-year-old arrived at the event, which was held at the Royal Opera House, alongside his girlfriend - American popstar Nicole Scherzinger.
While accepting the GQ Men of the Year gong, Hamilton said: "I want to receive this for my family and for my team. I've been very fortunate to be in F1 for eight years now and I'm extremely grateful."
Hamilton is currently 29 points behind his Mercedes teammate Nico Rosberg in the drivers' championship standings this season.
