Newcastle United owner Mike Ashley's company Sports Direct could reportedly face legal action.

The retailing group came under fire recently after reports emerged claiming that 90% of part-time workers were given 'zero-hour' contracts, meaning that employees have no guaranteed wage.

It is understood that law firm Leigh Day has teamed up with campaigns group 38 Degrees to bring an employment tribunal case against Sports Direct, according to the Daily Star.

Such contracts would also prevent staff from having the right to sick or holiday pay.
