Former Newcastle United midfielder Kieron Dyer made a U-turn after deciding to quit ITV reality show I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here in Wednesday's episode.
The 36-year-old told producers via the Bush Telegraph that he intended to walk out of the Australian jungle, but he was talked around by retired boxer Chris Eubank.
Dyer admitted that he had had enough after his campmates turned on Lady Colin Campbell, but the ex-footballer later changed his mind.
Eubank told Dyer: "You're a sportsman, that's not what we do. We don't take flight when there's a fight, we stand strong."
After reversing his decision, the former England international told the cameras: "After that pep talk I was like 'I want to make my kids proud'.
"So I'm going to do everything I can to stay as long as possible. My greatest challenge in the jungle is yet to come. I'm going to get everyone to love Lady C and I'm going to get Lady C to not curse and not put people down."
Dyer will donate the money that he earns from the show to charity.
