Newcastle United are reportedly in the process of refunding travelling Southampton fans after overcharging them for matchday tickets.
A number of supporters complained to the Premier League that they were forced to pay higher prices than the home fans for December's 1-1 draw at St James' Park.
According to the Daily Mail, league officials have ruled that Newcastle will have to pay back Saints supporters, 1,180 of whom were overcharged, with a bill reaching almost £12,000.
Adult tickets should have cost £27 each as opposed to the £37 that was charged, while seniors were asked to pay £33 and junior tickets stood at £22, when they should have been sold at £22 and £13 respectively.
