Newcastle United defender Steven Taylor has revealed that he is learning French for the benefit of the club's latest signings.
The Magpies now have 10 players from across the Channel in their squad following the recent arrivals of Moussa Sissoko, Yoan Gouffran, Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa, Massadio Haidara and Mathieu Debuchy.
"I'm talking all the time, probably with a terrible accent, but I'm trying," Taylor told The Mirror. "Thumbs up means good. I got a Spanish GCSE not French.
"It'll be nice to learn a bit of French, just in case."
