A host of British sports stars were honoured at the Laureus World Sports awards in Rio de Janeiro last night.
Olympic champion Jessica Ennis was handed the World Sportswoman of the Year award, while US Open winner Andy Murray won the gong for World Breakthrough.
Sebastian Coe was given the Lifetime Achievement award for his part in securing the Olympic Games in London last year.
Meanwhile, English golfer Ian Poulter accepted the Team of the Year award on behalf of the European team that clinched the Ryder Cup in Chicago last year.
