A survey has revealed that over two thirds of Brits would miss a day of work in order to attend a sporting event.
Research conducted by breakdown provider Green Flag has also revealed that over one million people would spend more than £1,000 to get to a match.
The dominance of sport in the lives of British fans is evident after it was stated that one in three Brits would sacrifice sleep in order to attend a game on time.
One in 10 men also revealed that out of any life event, a sporting match would be the one that they would hate to miss the most.
