Social network website Facebook have announced that fans of Olympic diver Tom Daley will have to spend money to send him an online message.
The global website are planning to launch a trial scheme, which would make users pay 71p per message that they want to send to a person in their 'Friends' list.
However, prices will increase depending on the popularity of the user, with one example stating that it will cost someone £10.68 to send a message to Daley, according to Eurosport.
The 18-year-old became a prominent figure in celebrity circles after he clinched a bronze medal at the London Olympic Games.
