Former Aston Villa defender Paul McGrath has reportedly been arrested for allegedly being loud and annoying other people near a hotel in County Offaly.
The 53-year-old is said to have been taken into a local garda station on Saturday afternoon and charged under Sections 4 and 6 of the Public Order Act.
The authorities arrested the former Republic of Ireland international after receiving complaints from members of the public, according to ITV News.
McGrath has been bailed until July 17 when he will appear at the Tullamore District Court.
