The highly anticipated rematch between Carl Froch and George Groves sold 60,000 tickets within the first hour of going on sale.
The bout between the British super-middleweight fighters will go ahead on May 31 at Wembley, with promoter Eddie Hearn labelling it as one of the biggest boxing matches in British history.
Following the sellout, Hearn is preparing to hold talks with Transport for London to get the go-ahead to market a further 20,000 tickets, according to the Daily Mail.
The fight could make history at Wembley for having the biggest boxing crowd for a British bout, with the heavyweight fight between Jack Doyle and Jack Petersen currently leading the way with 70,000 back in 1933.
