The Manchester home of retired boxer Ricky Hatton was reportedly burgled over the weekend after he revealed on Twitter that he was spending a few days in London.
Police are said to believe that the robbery took place once the thieves learned on social media that the 36-year-old was filming for Soccer AM and watching Manchester City play Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
Reports have claimed that a selection of credit cards, a pile of €500 notes and two Rolex watches were stolen from the property by intruders, who allegedly broke in through a window.
"I am devastated about what's happened," the Daily Mail quotes Hatton as saying. "It makes you feel gutted that someone can do this to you. Anyone with information should get onto the police as soon as possible because I've put up a reward."
A security system has reportedly now been installed at his home.
